Tarragonès

The region of Catalonia Tarragonés owned, is located in the province of Tarragona. The area surrounded by rivers and Gaià Francolí.

The Tarragonés, to be of small size, is a region of great importance, in the center are its capital, Tarragona.

Its climate is Mediterranean coast, has some very dry summers and warm winters is cold. The vegetation consists mainly of oak. However, today most cultures find land, urbanized and industrial areas.

The economic base of the region has steadily increased due to industrialization in the area. Although the eastern maintains its main activity, noted for its agricultural crops irrigated olive trees, vines, vegetables and hazelnut and pig farming and poultry

The beaches are long and fine sand, which have led to form major tourist centers, especially in Salou and Villa dry, as well known amusement park Port Aventura.
