The region of culd is the fourth largest in Catalonia. The province and its capital is Lleida Sort. It extends from south to north along the river Noguera Pallaresa.
In culd find the largest lake in the Pyrenees, the Certascan, and the highest peak of Catalonia, the Pica d'Estats.
