Calella de Palafrugell
Calella de Palafrugell is one of the most beautiful villages on the Costa Brava, belonging to the municipality of Palafrugell. Its white houses, the seafront promenade, and the iconic Les Voltes de Calella create one of the most recognizable images of the Catalan coast. Its beaches and coves, such as Port Bo and El Canadell, have made it a trendy destination.
At the top of the town is the Cap Roig Botanical Garden, one of the most important in the Mediterranean, and the setting of the prestigious Cap Roig Gardens Festival, one of the major summer festivals on the Costa Brava. Very close by stands the Sant Sebastià Lighthouse, offering exceptional panoramic views.
Calella de Palafrugell is also known for its excellent selection of restaurants, beachfront hotels, and charming accommodations. From the town, a beautiful Camí de Ronda trail connects to Llafranc, and every July, Port Bo beach hosts the traditional Cantada d’Havaneres.
