Palamós
Palamós, located in the heart of the Costa Brava, preserves the essence of an authentic Mediterranean fishing village. Its port, the most important in the province of Girona, defines the character of the town and its close connection to the sea.
Fishing tradition and gastronomy are central to its identity, with the renowned Palamós prawn as its flagship product. Places such as the Fishing Museum and the fish market offer insight into the maritime culture and daily life of the port.
Palamós combines urban beaches with natural coves such as La Fosca, Platja de Castell, Cala Estreta and S’Alguer, as well as the central Platja Gran. Its coastline is ideal for walking the Camí de Ronda coastal path, enjoying water sports and taking in the landscapes of the Costa Brava.
