Palafrugell
Palafrugell, on the Costa Brava in Girona, is a destination with a strong seafaring character and a rich gastronomic tradition in the Baix Empordà. The municipality brings together three well-known coastal villages: Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc and Tamariu, all ideal for enjoying the Mediterranean at a relaxed pace.
The coastline is shaped by small coves and stretches of the Costa Brava coastal path, with landscapes of clear waters and whitewashed villages by the sea. Local cuisine is another highlight, with restaurants serving fresh fish, seafood and traditional dishes from the Empordà.
Among its most emblematic landmarks are the Palafrugell Market and the Sant Sebastià Lighthouse, one of the finest viewpoints on the Costa Brava. Throughout the year, Palafrugell also hosts popular celebrations such as Flors i Violes and distinctive gastronomic events like La Garoinada, reflecting the authentic character of the town.
