Hotel-Restaurant Llar de Capitans

Our Hotel Llar de Capitans is the first 3-star hotel located in El Masnou (El Maresme).

At just 30 metres to the beach and 20 minutes by train from Barcelona City Centre, Llar de Capitans combines the iconic modernism style of the early 19th Century with modern convenience.

Hotel, Llar de Capitans, was originally built in 1865 to house two important capitains of the Merchant Navy in El Masnou: Pere Pagès i Colomer and Jaume Estapé Pagès. El Masnou, at the time, flourisherd as a merchant port and was an important trade centre with the American continent.

In commeemoration of this time, our bedrooms are named for the most successful and legendary schooners: Paula, Prisca, Caupolicán, Guayaquil and Prim.

Our Sotacel restaurant stands out not only for its decoration, but also for its select cuisine of first quality. ​Our preference are local products without losing the authenticity of traditional Mediterranean recipes. The restaurant unites tradition with new trends in a fusion in which flavor and quality stand out.

If you want to taste an author's kitchen even on a daily basis, we offer a lunch menu from Monday to Friday for 13.50€. Saturdays at 16.50€ and Sundays at 19€ (drinks not included). Friday and Saturday night our spacious dining room offers an à la carte menu with a broad selection of dishes to suit every taste. Special menus for groups can be organized according to your demands with advance notice.
